Two studio apartments in the West Village, one the clients’ existing residence and the other a neighboring unit, were combined into a flexible two bedroom home. Large sliding panels allow spaces on either side of the main living area to be opened into the public areas of the apartment or, when closed, to create private bedroom suites.
